Ok, I am sorry you have a sour taste in your mouth about dealers. Unfortunately you are just going to keep throwing parts at it until you blindly find the problem. Checking system pressures is important, this will tell you if you a leak and if the system is working or not. The system is controlled by computer. If you refuse to go a shop that can read what is going on, then your guess is a good as mine. Obviously you need more than a $25 actuator.

Don't let the dealer bully you into a repair. Tell them you want it diagnosed only, then the repair quoted. When you sign the work order make sure it says, "diagnose only". That way if they install $10,000 worth of parts you pay nothing! If their diagnostics or repair quote sounds outrageous or fishy, ask us here, and/or get a second opinion.

I want to thank Heavyd!! My A/C was acting up on my Prostar and was throwing the code for the inlet temp sensor. Thanks to your input on this thread she's all fixed up and blowing ice cold. Thanks again for coming on here and providing solid advice, it's greatly appreciated!!

All this means is that your slpr blower is on when your front blower is off. Thats why it say activate front hvac.

Now that you replaced the high pressure sensor, try it again. If it works greats then just stops, I would say you have a wiring issue. You should get the codes cleared, so if something happens again only the one code should be logged to pinpoint which circuit is the culprit.

Thanx Heavyd , any tricks to clearing codes
left turn signal - cruise on/cruise set while gauges are cycling
Ignition key 4x- start on 5th key turn
pull a fuse
one more thing , is there a special procedure needed to replace those actuators , replaced the vent door actuator in 6 of our trucks this spring , all of them were cracked and settled on the defrost mode . Once again , thank you sooo very muchal easley,Jun 2, 2014

You need Diamond Logic software to clear the codes from the body controller. The actuators are just r&r, once you get to them. The HVAC controls need to recalibrate it afterwards. You can remove and unplug the HVAC control head, (the module with heater and a/c control dials on it), or you disconnect the batteries to the truck. Which ever you like. This will reset the actuator travel from stop to stop automatically.
