When I replaced the pair of batteries in the f 350 I went with x2 agm battery and did the coupon for 10 or 15% off and pick up at store. I looked at optima, and others and did some research. I also changed the charge profile settings and battery type in the bcm module in forscan, but that's a Ford thing not a Chevy thing.. Batteries plus handles them.. yes they aren't cheap, but neither is a optima. Compare warranty as well.. |

I just bought a smallish DieHard for a 2006 F150. It ran me just under $190. I almost had a heart attack. Thanks Joe !🤬😡😤 |

Ole Neverstarts. There is only a couple of manufacturers left if that. It's all branding. That being said as I hate Neverstars and Walmart with a passion I run Interstate batteries in my trucks. I usually pick up a "blem" or 2 for ~$60 to throw in the boat. If I get a year out if them I've made money. So.e have lasted me 5 or 6 years. Did the Durolast batteries from Autozone for a while for the warranty but they've cut the warranty in half on them and almost doubled the price. I liked them mainly because there was usually an auto zone everywhere. What I dislike about Interstate at least here they work bankers hours. They close at 5 and it's hard for me to get over there after work before then. |

Iv'e done a ton of business with the interstate store in town over the years..auto, survey, GPS, and battery pack recells.. I just wanted a bit more in the truck.. The x2 can be used as a starting OR a deep cycle.. |

No laughing here, got a Walmart in my daily driver right now. Been in since 2021. Got a high dollar in the truck because it doesn’t get used but on the weekends and if I gotta pull stuff. |

The idiots will keep saying the battery is fine when every place else says the battery is bad. I bought one from them and that was the last thing I ever bought from Autozone. Won't do business with those bastards. I go to Advance or Napa. |
The voices in my head tell me I am perfectly fine. |

While there is occasionally a very knowledgeable person behind the counter more often than not you're not dealing with a brain trust. When I go in I usually already have the part number I need. And there is very little guarantee that the part number is the actual right part. I remember years ago one autozone employee told me that GMC never made a K2500 Suburban with 8 lug axel. I pointed to the parking lot and said you're right!!!! I built that one alp by myself in my garage. 🙄 |

This gives me the ability to buy parts online. Typically 30/40 percent cheaper. If I’m jammed up it’s Advanced Auto, they give me points. If I’m really in a bind it’s NAPA, the guys behind the counter are always knowledgeable and they can hunt down obscure parts. Guy was able to find me 4 grommets I needed without selling me an entire head gasket kit for an old Honda Civic. |
