A rocky road! Brandi Glanville and ex-husband Eddie Cibrian have had their fair share of drama over the years.
The exes — who tied the knot in May 2001 — went through a contentious divorce afterUs Weeklybroke the news ofCibrian’s affair with LeAnn Rimes, whom he met filming the Lifetime movieNorthern Lightsin 2008. Despite their split, the former spouses have attempted to be cordial for sons Mason and Jake, born in 2003 and 2007 respectively.
“Eddie’s going to be in my life for the rest of my life. We bicker still like we’re married when we’re not,” Glanville said during a June 2021 appearance on the “Hollywood Raw” podcast while discussing where she stands with theSunset Beachalum and Rimes, whom he wed in April 2011. “We’re like sister wives. It’s me and LeAnn and Eddie.”
TheReal Housewives of Beverly Hillsalum didn’t always have such fond feelings for Cibrian and the country star, however. In July 2009, Glanville had strong words about Rimes while announcing her separation from theBest Man Holidayactor.
“Eddie and I have decided to take some time apart,” theDrinking and Datingauthor exclusively toldUsat the time. “I want to do what is best for our children. Eddie and LeAnn deserve each other.”
The exes finalized their divorce in September 2010.In the aftermath of the split, the “Brandi Glanville Unfiltered” podcaster confessed that she was most hurt by seeing her sons bonding with their new stepmom.
“It’s the worst pain you could ever imagine,” the California native told Bethenny Frankel on a September 2013 episode ofBethenny.“You think your heart is broken after you get a divorce? Wait until there is a girl tweeting pictures of, ‘Oh, look at my family.’ You have no idea.”
TheCelebrity Big Brotheralum continued: “I feel like she almost does it to antagonize me, but at this point I’ve accepted it. It took me a while, but Xanax was my friend when that started happening. I was like, ‘You can have the man, but those are my babies.'”

Despite her feelings toward Rimes, Glanville admitted that she’d seen a positive change in her ex-husband since their breakup.
“You know, I think he’s actually become a much better father through divorce,” she said at the time. “Because when we were together, he wasn’t home a lot, he didn’t spend a ton of time with the kids, and now he’s really present. That’s the one positive I take away from it because the rest freaking sucks.”

"The reason it is so bad is she was pretending to be my friend as well," the bestselling author said of Rimes during a September 2012 appearance on The Jeff Probst Show. "It would have been better had I not known her and they were just having an affair. We're sitting there and she's pretending they're pals — and she's sleeping with my husband."

During a January interview with Glamour, Glanville recalled slashing Cibrian’s motorcycle tires when she first found out about his affair. She claimed that Rimes felt no guilt over the situation.
“Marriages break up all the time. People have affairs. Happens every day. It matters how you handle yourself after and if you're actually remorseful. I've never found LeAnn to be remorseful. I found her to be like, ‘Nah-nah-nah-nah-nah, I got your family,’” she alleged.

The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip alum dished on her ex-husband’s infidelity in her book Drinking and Tweeting: And Other Brandi Blunders. In the bestseller, she quipped that getting vagin*l rejuvenation surgery helped her get over the former 3Deep member.
“Later that night, over a glass of sauvignon blanc, it occurred to me: a brand-new vagin* would be an Eddie-free vagin*. It would be something completely unknown to him and would offer me the fresh start I so desperately deserved,” she wrote.

Glanville briefly reignited the feud during the coronavirus lockdown in March.
“It’s very crazy that I’ve been alone for this entire week and I can’t be with my children because it happens not to be my week in our divorce settlement,” she wrote via Twitter at the time. “I think that this is a time with special circ*mstances and I should be able to be with them.”
Two days later, the Famously Single alum shared a slightly shady update. “I got the boys back today. I still will never understand why we all don’t stay together in [their] mansion with me in the guest house so we can both be with our kids. Guess I’m just further involved or removed,” she wrote.

The exes both attended a family dinner celebrating their oldest son as he turned 18 in June.
“Happy Birthday Mason! You may legally be an adult now but you’ll always be my baby boy💗💗. I love you so much,” Glanville wrote via Instagram at the time.

The former model claimed that Cibrian had an affair with Piper Perabo during their marriage.
“They did a movie together and Mason was 1 year old,” Glanville told Page Six in December. “And I went to the set and it was in another country — Romania, I think. And [Piper] was a horrible c–t to me.”
The Celebrity Apprentice alum also alleged that crew members on the film in question, 2005's The Cave, told her “that Piper and Eddie were f—king.”
Cibrian, for his part, quickly shut down his ex-wife's claims.
“I’m sad I have to address this, I really believed that we had come a long way, but this was untrue 19 years ago and it’s untrue now,” the But I’m a Cheerleader actor told Us in a statement. “Just because someone thinks something might be true does not make it true. This is all so unnecessary.”
