Interview with Tetsu, a Highly Influential CGI Artist Rendering Gentle Giantesses (1)

Tetsu is a highly influential CGI artist who first began sharing his work at Giantess City back in late October 2007. Tetsu’s work features female growth often over extended periods with emphasis on gentle giantess scenarios. Several other artists, such as AZmaybe9, bmtbguy, DragoonGTS, and GrowCloneGrow cited Tetsu as one of their favorite creators or as an influence during their interviews. However, Tetsu took an extended break which lasted over 4 years. Our Secrets, released in late June 2021, was his first new comic since May 23, 2017! Fans can follow Tetsu at DeviantArt and Twitter, purchase his comic “Our Secrets 2″ via Gumroad, and support his Patreon.

#1) Can you tell the readers a little about yourself?

I was born near Naples, but I moved to northern Italy when I was 7. I like doing a lot of different things: I’m into bodybuilding, so I go to the gym 5 days a week, I play electric guitar, I love Japanese culture, videogames, manga and I’m a cosplayer too. I think that’s why I usually feel I’m always in a hurry, cause I want to do a lot of things, but the time is too little. Luckily, my wife and I decided not to have any children.

#2) How did you first become interested in giant women?

That’s not totally correct. I’m interested in women growing bigger rather than in giant women per se. When I was a child, I loved watching cartoon episodes where a character or a monster, or something like that, started to grow. The episode of TMNT when Irma grows into a giantess, for example. When puberty hit, I got badly into breast expansion. I spent a lot of time looking for manga where girls boobs got bigger, such as Ranma 1/2. I didn’t pay attention to girls height until I ran into an Italian story on Diana The Valkyrie website. The story isMartinaand it talks about a girl who gets taller every time she wears her new sandals. And that’s it, it’s all about the growth process, but I lose interest if the girl gets too big.

#3) What are a few of your favorite works from other creators?

I love Alex Gts and bmtbguy’s stories for sure, and I’ve recentlylost my mind on Rogue Fmg works. But what inspires me the most is text stories. My favorite ones of all time areCompounding interestby Hunter S. Creek,Four types of reactionby Pseudoclever,Personal growthby Rapscalion,Second chanceby BBL… but there are many more. There’s something about reading a story that is way better than looking at pictures for me. They’re the main inspiration for my creativity, it’s a pity there are less and less stories lately.

#4) How would you describe your art?

That’s a hard question, I don’t know. I think my art is just me. It’s what I have in my mind, what I dream at night. It’s a way to realize my fantasies, to escape from reality. I put a lot of effort in small details, and I don’t care if nobody notices them, I do it for me in primis. (EDITOR’S NOTE: In primis is Latin for “first of all” or “firstly.”)

#5) Any advice for other people wanting to create their own CGI comics?

Get the software and do it. There are a lot of tutorials nowadays, everyone can do it. Try to always improve yourself, never be fully satisfied with your work.

#6) Is there a storefront for fans to purchase your older works like “A Change of Attitude,” “A Vial of Lies,” and “Dr. Turner’s Chronicles”?

I’m going to open a Gumroad store in March, with almost all my old stories. And a new one titledSexual disease.

#7) Will you conclude the “A Vial of Lies” series?

I got burned out on that story. I’m like traumatized ahahah! I don’t want to think about it, I’m scared I’ll get blocked again, if I work on it. It’s not a 100% no, but I don’t want to talk about it for now.

#8) Do you have any upcoming projects that you’d like to mention?

I’ve recently switched from Poser to Daz Studio, soSexual Diseasewill probablybe my last story made in Poser. It’s a 3 part comic about a girl who grows everytime she… comes. I’ve also got many stories going on my Patreon, every month I post 2 chapters on it.

Thank you for doing this interview!
