Your stay on the Frankfurt School campus
Reception & help desk
The campus’s central meeting and rendezvous point is the reception area directly adjoining the main entrance. The standard service/opening hours for your inquiries and requests – directions to various parts of the building, room details, reception and telephone services, taxi services and so on – are between 7:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. Monday to Friday, and between 7:00 a.m. and 4.00 p.m. on Saturdays.
Seminar rooms & work areas
The seminar rooms are located on the ground floor and on floors 1 to 3. Open work areas are also available on these floors.
Catering
The Frankfurt School campus offers a wide variety of catering options, including the refectory, fine dining area, deli, shop and self-service stations. In the refectory, you can choose from a selection of main courses and international menus that change daily and are prepared in our on-site kitchen. The fine dining area adjoins the refectory and is ideal for group events and customer meetings. Opening hours: Mon – Sat 11:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Deli
The deli is a multipurpose combination of café, shop and after-work meeting place. In addition to freshly prepared food, the deli sells a range of beverages, speciality coffees and pastries. The shop also offers everyday convenience goods and consumables, including office supplies and stationery, vouchers as well as Frankfurt School merchandise. Opening hours: Mon – Sat 7:00 a.m. – 19:00 p.m.
Smoking area
To protect non-smokers, the entire building is a no-smoking zone. Smoking is permitted in designated areas, for example in front of the main entrance or next to the Präsidialbau building.
Outdoor areas & roof terraces
The campus has a total of four roof terraces. As a course or conference participant and guest, you are welcome to use the spacious roof terraces on the third floor –above the Audimax –as well as the adjoining Executive and Faculty Lounges. There is also a large terrace at ground level – next to the refectory and in front of our landscaped World Garden – which you are welcome to use for meals, meetings or simply for relaxing.
Lifts/elevators
In the mall, you have free access to six elevators on the reception side, which you can use to travel between the ground floor and third floor. All other lifts are reserved for employees and can only be used with an access card.
Staircases
The staircases are freely accessible to anyone walking up or down between the basem*nt and the third floor. The central meeting and rendezvous point is the reception area directly adjoining the main entrance. You can only use staircases above the third floor if you have an access card.
On-campus Internet access
The Frankfurt School wi-fi network offers free Internet access to guests anywhere on the campus. To use our wi-fi network, please ask at reception, or use the login details posted on noticeboards or in your documentation.
Parking
If you are travelling by car, we advise you to use the multi-storey car park at the German National Library (Deutsche Nationalbibliothek). The entrance is in Eckenheimer Landstrasse; enter “Adickesallee 1” into your GPS system or route planner (for further details, see www.parkopedia.de/parken/tiefgarage/deutsche_nationalbibliothek). Opening hours are Mon – Fri 6:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m.; Sat 8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. The parking fee is EUR 1 per hour, payable exclusively in cash. Then cross Adickesallee at the traffic lights opposite the Total service station; the Frankfurt School campus is right next to the service station.
DIRECTIONS – HOW TO REACH US
We recommend travelling by public transport, as there is only limited parking around the campus. If you decide to travel by car, please use the directions provided at: https://www.fs.de/anfahrt.
Public transport
From Frankfurt Airport:
- Take the S-Bahn train (direction: “Frankfurt Innenstadt”) to Konstablerwache station
- Then take the U5 metro (direction: “Preungesheim”) to Deutsche Nationalbibliothek
- Cross Adickesallee directly at the traffic lights at the German National Library
- The Frankfurt School Campus is diagonally opposite the German National Library on the other side of Adickesallee Street
From Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof (Central Station):
- Take the U5 metro (direction: “Preungesheim”) to Deutsche Nationalbibliothek station
- Cross Adickesallee directly at the traffic lights at the German National Library
- The Frankfurt School Campus is diagonally opposite the German National Library on the other side of Adickesallee Street
From the “Zeil” shopping street in Frankfurt city centre:
- From Konstablerwache station, take the U5 metro (direction: “Preungesheim”) to Deutsche Nationalbibliothek
- Cross Adickesallee directly at the traffic lights at the German National Library
- The Frankfurt School Campus is diagonally opposite the German National Library on the other side of Adickesallee Street
From Frankfurt city centre:
- From Hauptwache or Willy-Brandt Platz station, take the U1, U2, U3 or U8 metro heading north (direction: Oberursel, Bad Homburg, Riedberg, etc.) to Polizeipräsidium / Miquel-/Adickesallee station
- Walk east along Adickesallee for about five minutes; the campus is on the left
