Lee arrived on time and was very pleasant to deal with. Due to the age of the opener and unreliable operation, we agreed on a new opener. Lee replaced the old one with a new unit, installed a keypad and programmed our car buttons, all in about an hour.I was very satisfied with the service and would recommend your company to anyone.RegardsJames Turner

Fabulous response time to an emergency situation! We accidentally knocked the garage door off it’s track. Precision was out to our home within the hour. Not only did they repair the garage door, our Technician Joe, noticed our springs were in dire need of replacement. Joe fixed our garage door but more importantly he prevented a major disaster as the springs were about to fail.

First of all, your receptionist voluntarily checked for cancellations and was able to schedule our service one day sooner which was appreciated. Once our appointment was scheduled, I received an email confirmation. Technician Joe Askew called ahead and arrived at 11:10 when the window was 11-3. Therefore, I didn't have to sit around waiting for hours. He was professional, gave me an estimate, and quickly completed the repair. Our overall experience was very good. Note- we did purchase a coupler.

Although they could not come the same day as advertised, Lee did arrive as scheduled. He was very helpful in explaining our options. We opted to replace the whole garage door opener. He was very professional and explained the warranty, operation of the keypad, remote and loaded the signal into our cars.

Review:
My garage door was grinding loudly while operating, and had noticeably shifted in its position at closing. I felt some preventive maintenance, including adjustments, was needed to correct its positioning and address the noise. I was absent at the time of the service call, so I'm not really sure what service the technician performed for the money charged. Unfortunately, he did nothing to adjust the position of the closed door, and the grinding is not much improved. If all the technician did was slap some grease on the bearings,... I could have done that myself.

We thought our 25 year old garage door was done for. We are planning to sell our house soon and really didn’t want to have to replace it, especially with the hassle of permitting and wind mitigation here in our county. We read the reviews and Precision had really good reviews so we called. Joe and Lee came the next day. We were actually scheduled from 12-4 but they called that morning because they were in the area. Since we were home they came on over. They were able to fix our poor old garage door! When they went to replace the spring, the whole top tube fell in 2 pieces. Apparently when the house was originally built, the installer had never put a bearing in the center and over time it had scored and cut the steel tube up top. We weren’t the original owners but the door had never gone up easily. Replacing that piece added a lot to the cost of the repair obviously but it was still about a third of what a new one would have cost. They were done in about an hour and a half as opposed to weeks of dealing with permitting and inspections. Joe and Lee were very knowledgeable, professional, and also very personable. I expected whoever came to try to sell us a new door but they didn’t even try and said they could fix our old one. Who does that anymore? I would recommend this company to anyone and couldn’t have been more pleased with our service techs.
