Are YOU kicking off the Disneyland Resort Diamond Celebration by spending a FULL 24 HOURS with Mickey and the gang in Disneyland and Disney California Adventure?!

That’s right! The eagerly anticipated Diamond Anniversary Celebration officially begins this Friday, May 22nd,at 6 am — the same day Walt Disney World launches the “Coolest Summer Ever” with Magic Kingdom’s 24 hour day. Now, 24 hours may seem like a LOT of time… but when you see all the special treats created just for the occasion, you may find that 24 hours isn’t nearly enough!

And we would love it if YOU would help us all join in the fun! Are you attending the 24-hour celebration on either coast? And now… back to the FOOD!! Special dishes and snacks will abound in Disneyland and Disney California Adventure throughout the celebration.

World of Color Dining Packages

Don’t forgetthat World of Color Dining Packages are available for the new “World of Color — Celebrate!” show. Unique to the 24-hour event are 2-course, prix fixe breakfast packages available from midnight to 1:45 am on May 23rd at Ariel’s Grotto(as a non-character meal) and Wine Country Trattoria, offering reserved viewing for a special 3 am World of Color show.

Though online it appears as thoughDining Reservations are currently full, you never know when you might happen upon a cancellation.

Disneyland

There is a LOT of ground to coverfor the all-around-the-park eats, so let’s start inDisneyland! The signature Disneyland Diamond Celebration Cupcake will be featured at Jolly Holiday Bakery Cafe.

The Diamond Anniversary Ice Cream Sandwich offers a cool twist on the celebratory treats with your choice of ice cream between two sugar cookies. Find it at Gibson Girl Ice Cream Parlor, alongside an Ice Cream Sundae served in a souvenir kitchen sink!

I wonder how many people will be lining up at the Stage Door Cafe for this Mocha Chip Funnel Cake?

Plenty of savory dishes for longer term sustenance (you’re gonna need it!) will be

available throughout the park, like the Country-fried Chicken Sandwich with honey-mustard coleslaw on a brioche bun at Carnation Cafe.

For all the hungry bears at Hungry Bear Restaurant, a Pulled Pork Hot Dog with citrus slaw and fried jalapeños will be served with fries.

The French Market Restaurant will feature a large array of items.

Three cheers (and two ears!!) for the Mickey-shaped bread bowls filled with Creamy Corn Chowder or Slow-Roasted Louisiana Beef Stew.

On the lighter side, guests will be able to enjoy aN’Awlins Salad andRoyal Street Chicken Caesar Salad there as well.

Also on the menu will be a Market French Dip and a Shrimp Po’Boy.

Can’t decide between breakfast, lunch or dinner? The Fried Chicken and Waffles at Plaza Inn can serve for any and all of the above!

The Village Haus Restaurant will serve a Flatbread Special with buffalo chicken, Serrano chile slices and chipotle aioli.

And Redd Rocket’s Pizza Port will offer a more classic take on Italian with the Supernova Pizza Special with mozzarella cheese, pepperoni, salami, chorizo, chicken sausage, bacon, pepperoncini and seasoned parmesan.

The beautiful Blue Bayou will serve a special Creole-brined Bone-In Pork Chop along with roasted garlic Boursin-mashed potatoes and sautéed baby spinach, garnished with a champagne pear coulis and tomato relish.

On the search for breakfast? Bananas Foster French Toast will be available at Cafe Orleans, while a Breakfast Burrito will be served at Tomorrowland Terrace.

Disney California Adventure Park

Disney California Adventure Park will have its own selection of specialty foods as well! The Disneyland Diamond Celebration Cupcake will also be available at .

Clarabelle’s Hand-Scooped Ice Cream will be serving up S’mores Bars: vanilla or chocolate ice cream dipped in your choice of milk or dark chocolate, complete with fluff drizzle and graham cracker crumbs.

Staying up for the full 24? Reward yourself with “The Insomniac” at Award Wieners! It’s a bacon, egg, and sausage dog with pepper jack cheese and topped with a maple crunch.

Guests dining at Wine Country Trattoria may choose the Surf & Turf featuring Lobster Tail and Grilled Sirloin.

Zoom over to Cars Land for a Barbecued Pulled Pork and Slaw Cone at the Cozy Cone Motel.

The Lucky Fortune Cookery will offer a Steamed Chicken and Vegetable Dumpling Bowl served with rice and dipping sauce. And while that sounds good, I don’t think I’d be able to resist the Mac and Cheese Pizza over at , topped with a bacon pesto.
