The SIREN Amsterdam: the new enticing hotspot in the heart of the city centre >> (2024)

The opening of The SIREN Amsterdam was perhaps the year’s most anticipated event. Because our capital doesn’t have many establishments with the international allure of The SIREN, it’s your go-to if you love places like La Ventuno and Secret Garden.

Why you want to visit The SIREN Amsterdam

Nothing is too extravagant for the owners of Secret Garden, Roy and Mike Poppes, and Michiel Dekker. With their previous successful concept, the sky was the limit – the same applies to their recently opened The SIREN Amsterdam in the heart of the city centre. The SIREN offers the very best of Southern European Mediterranean cuisine in a highly enticing setting. The interior was curated and designed by Will Erens of Too Many Agencies. He transformed the ample space on the Rokin into a place where seduction and Mediterranean influences blend seamlessly, with no fewer than 160 seats in the restaurant area, another 60 in the lounge, and 22 in a private dining room. And then there’s the co*cktail bar, where you can drop in spontaneously.

Menu The Siren

Executive Chef Lein Schoe and Head Chef Michael Mulas prepare the dishes on the menu at The SIREN Amsterdam with the utmost precision. The menu is diverse and varied, featuring everything from fresh pasta to homemade bread, freshly caught seafood (including oysters and caviar), and the finest meats. Think of dishes like Wagyu Bresaola, octopus carpaccio, cuttlefish empanadas, and tagliatelle with wild mushrooms. There are also several charcoal-grilled dishes, such as corn-fed chicken, Spanish Black Angus, and grilled lobster. Naturally, an extensive and specially curated wine and co*cktail menu accompanies these offerings to complete the experience.

And if you’re feeling boozy, press the champagne button that adorns every table. With just one press, one of their experts will wheel a champagne cart to your table, offering a pervasive selection of bubbles.
